IMDb, cea mai importanta baza de date a cinematografiei, a publicat lista cu cele mai bune filme facute intre 1990 si 2014, pe baza preferintelor celor 1.5 milioane de utilizatori ai site-ului.

Regizorul cu cele mai multe filme in acest top este Christopher Nolan ( Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins si Memento), urmat de Peter Jackson ( Lord of the Rings) si Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street).

In ceea ce priveste regizorul cu cele mai mari incasari din ultimii 25 de ani, lider este Steven Spielberg care a adunat 3.8 miliarde de dolari. Dintre actori, cel mai multe aparitii le are Leonardo DiCaprio (The Wolf of Wall Street, Django Unchained, Inception si The Departed).
